Excerpt: "The province announced Wednesday that Manitoba was among the three provinces to receive a passing grade in the Early Childhood Education Index issued by the Margaret & Wallace McCain Family Foundation earlier this month. "It's very useful to have independent reports on how we're doing on providing childcare for families. This certainly points to some successes and some challenges where we've got to continue to make steady improvement," said Family Services Minister Gord Mackintosh. Manitoba joins PEI and Quebec as the only three provinces to actually receive a passing grade in the report."
